China Single phase current limiting protector 20-80A 220VAC Manufacturers, Manufacturer

The Single phase current limiting protector is an advanced safety device that accurately monitors circuit current and interrupts short-circuit faults within microseconds to prevent arc faults. It integrates comprehensive protection functions including overload, overvoltage, undervoltage, line temperature monitoring, and leakage detection, with optional fault arc sensing. Featuring a clear Chinese LCD display, it supports wired RS485 and wireless LoRa, NB, or 4G communication for remote alerts. Designed for DIN-rail installation, it operates reliably in environments from -20°C to 85°C, providing intelligent analysis and real-time warnings to enhance electrical fire prevention in residential and commercial applications.

Product Description

Function & Application
Real-time Monitoring: Tracks & displays circuit short-circuit current, fault arc (opt.), voltage, current, frequency, temperature, residual current, and communication status.
Alarm & Protection: Alerts (audible/visual) on faults/over-limits; microsecond-level current-limiting protection.
Fault Prompt: Signals self-faults (e.g., arc detection failure) for maintenance.

Special Notes:

1. If a leakage protector is installed at the front end, the neutral wire must be led from the outlet terminal of the leakage protector to the current-limiting protector.
2. The product is installed in a distribution box/cabinet. It generates significant heat during operation; high-displacement fans must be installed on the door panel or both sides of the distribution box/cabinet.
3. The neutral wire connected to this protector is only used to supply power to the protector. Do not connect the neutral wire from the protector to terminal load equipment.
4. Auxiliary functions such as RS485 communication, leakage detection, and temperature sensing may not be connected in practical applications.

Other Notes

□ The residual current transformer is an optional component.
□ The cable temperature sensor is an optional component.
□ When selecting a current-limiting protector, its set rated current must match the rated current of the upstream circuit breaker. It is strictly prohibited to install the protector in a circuit where its rated current does not match that of the upstream breaker.
□ The current-limiting protector is designed for DIN-rail mounting and should be installed in sites free from water leakage and corrosive gases.
□ Wiring should be performed according to the connection diagram. Ensure all terminals are securely and firmly tightened to prevent localized overheating.

How fast does the current-limiting protection respond?
The protector provides microsecond-level short-circuit protection, responding in less than 150 microseconds to ensure circuit safety.
What communication methods does the device support?
It supports wired RS485 as standard, with optional wireless modules including LORA, NB-IoT, and 4G for cloud-based monitoring.
Is the neutral wire required for installation?
Yes, the neutral wire is required to supply power to the protector itself. However, it should not be connected from the protector to terminal load equipment.
How do I choose the right rated current for the protector?
The rated current setting of the current-limiting protector must match the rated current of the upstream circuit breaker (e.g., use a 32A setting for a 32A upstream breaker).
Are the temperature sensors and leakage transformers included?
The residual current transformer and cable temperature sensor are optional components that can be added based on your specific application needs.
What are the installation requirements for the distribution box?
Since the device generates heat, it is recommended to install it in a cabinet with good ventilation and high-displacement fans on the door or sides.
